Dear Member Residents,

Please take note that the security scheme's next payment for May, June, July & August 2015  (RM200.00) is due.  Members who joined at a different time resulting in payments not in sync with our schedule may adjust their payments accordingly so that all future payments can be synchronized. Those who wish to pay for 6 months (RM 300) or 12 months (RM 600) may continue to do so.

Kindly make payment by :

• cash; or
• cheque payable to “Persatuan Penduduk Sektor SS2 Utara, PJ.”  ; or
• e-banking/bank transfer direct into SS2D Account No: CIMB  8003414519. Please forward the payment slip/details to any Committee Member or e-mail to ss2dresidents@gmail.com for purpose of updating payment record and issuing of receipt.

Free Blood Screen on Dengue

Dear Residents,

Please be informed that, PPUM in collaboration with MBPJ, will be conducting a

free blood screening on dengue. The screening will be held on Sunday, 12 April 2015

from 9 am to 3 pm at the covered Basketball Court (beside the hawker centre) in

SS2 Commercial Centre.

Community Project: Installation of LED Lights at Back Lane in SS2D by MBPJ

Dear Residents,                                                                                                                                         

The Security Committee is currently working with MBPJ councillor, Ir. Lee Suet Sen to help residents apply to MBPJ for back lane LED lights in order to enhance the security measures in SS2D to discourage unwanted theft/crime.

Installation of the LED light and related wiring work will be carried out by contractor appointed by MBPJ and the cost will be borne by MBPJ. After the installation, MBPJ will inform TNB and the electricity usage will then be included in your monthly TNB bill. The estimated LED billing is only RM 18.00 per year or on average, RM 1.50 per month. The LED light (installed with a timer) will be switched on daily from 7.00 pm to 7.00 am the next day.

Interested residents are required to personally fill up the attached MBPJ application form and attach the following documents as required by MBPJ:

1. Photocopy of resident's Identity Card (IC) or Borang 49 for company;
2. Latest assessment bill (Bil cukai taksiran);
3. Latest electricity bill.

After filling up the application form, residents can pass the form to any of the road representatives listed below. The Security Committee will collect all the forms and in turn pass them to the Councillor who will assist in forwarding them to MBPJ for approval.

Please take note that the closing date for submission of application form to the Security Committee or Road Representative is Sunday, 29 March 2015.

Appeal to residents to join as a Security Member

If you are not yet a security member, you are kindly requested to join as a security member by filling up an SS2D application form as attached. Think of the safety and the future of your family and children.      

    

Please pass your application form and payment of RM 250 (monthly security fee of RM 50 for 4 months and a onetime start up fund of RM 50) to any Committee Member or Road Representative nearest to you.

Security Advice: Always Close Your House's Front Gate

Dear Residents,

The patrolling guards have reported to the Security Committee that

lately, a number of residents have left their house front gate open

during day time and sometimes even at night.

We would like to express our concern that some of you might have

"unintentionally" taken security for granted, thereby putting yourself

and your family at risk of a security breach!

You are hereby advised that you should close your house's front gate

all the time and not leave it open unnecessarily long to safeguard

your own safety. It would really be a good deed if you can tell your

neighbour to do the same if you see his/her front gate open.

For security reason, please always be alert and stay vigilant!
