Dear Residents,
For the benefit of SS2D community, the Security Committee
has recently taken the initiative to approach MBPJ to upgrade the playground at
SS2/94, PJ.
A meeting at the site was arranged on 8 Nov 2012 morning with
En. Rubil of MBPJ Landscape Department. Below are the proposed upgrading works which
will be considered by MBPJ:
- Rubber like material will be provided to cover the whole basketball court. The basket netting and the backboard will also be replaced with the latest material;
- Existing rusty electrical control box will be replaced;
- Opening for water to flow out from the playground which is always water-logged whenever it rains at present will be constructed;
- More earth will be added to the affected areas which will then be planted with grass;
- Existing concrete access/entrance to the playground will be upgraded and poles installed to prevent motorcycle from entering the playground; and
- A "wakaf" (pavilion) similar to the one at SS2/104 playground has been requested and En. Rubil has promised to forward our proposal to MBPJ for approval.
We hope the necessary budget can be obtained soon so that
the above mentioned improvement works can proceed in the near future.
Thank you.
Security Committee
Hi Security Committee of SS2 Zone D,
ReplyDeleteJust today I noticed there is a guy walking around SS2/88 wearing a security cap and holding a neon ssecurity blazer, going from house to house claiming an "emergency" and that he needs food for lunch, asking for RM5 from everyone standing outside in the porch/garden. Claims to be a security guard working in Puay Chai School. Appreciate if the security guards can be notified to look out for this guy during patrols.
Thanks,
SS2 Zone D Resident
