Dear

We
wish to inform you that a new security company, namely Deriguour Security Sdn Bhd, has taken over the security service
for SS2D effective 16 June 2012.
The
service of the previous security company, Paradise Security Services Sdn Bhd, has been
terminated on 15 June 2012 due to poor performance and failure to improve
despite repeated advice and directives from the Security Committee for the past
five and a half months.
Kindly take note that Deriguour
Security Sdn Bhd is also the security company
presently providing similar security services to zone SS2C with 11 guards,
covering SS2/2 to SS2/72 and from SS2/95 to SS2/75. On our side, we have 8 guards, making a total of 19 guards for SS2D & SS2C.
As such, at any one shift, there
will be 9 to 10 guards on duty in SS2D & SS2C. If there is any problem or in
the event of any emergency, they will be able to pool their resources to
provide the necessary back-up support. In addition, Deriguour Security Sdn Bhd
is also currently managing SS2B, behind Puay Chai Chinese School, which again
is an added advantage from the overall security management & operation
point of view.

We would like to take this
opportunity to inform you of the following security incidences:
- There was a house break-in by a group of dark-skinned robbers along SS 2/107 (non-security member) on 20 June 2012 at about 6 am when the door was open;
- On 26 June 2012, at about 11.30 pm, a house owner in SS 2/27 was robbed of his Honda Accord by armed Indian robbers.
The Security Committee has contacted
Inspector Gunan, OCS of SEA Park Police Station regarding the increasing crime
rate and he
has promised to increase police patrolling in our
area. He
has also arranged to set-up a road block in front of Bomba at SS 2/2. Few days
ago, his men at the road block chased after two suspicious looking characters.
He has asked the committee to warn the residents to be constantly vigilant and
be cautious whenever you are leaving your house!
