Please take note that
SS2D Security Committee, together with the Security Committees of other sectors
of SS2 Utara, have jointly decided to change the security company effective 1 May 2015 for the following reasons:
1.
The previous security company has notified the
Committee that they will increase the security fee from the hourly rate of RM 5.00
per guard to RM 7.30, as approved by the government, effective 1 May 2015.
2.
By increasing the rate by 46% in order to
provide Nepalese guards, we would have to reduce the number of guards from the
present 8 nos. to only 5 nos.
The Security Committee then searched for new security company which can offer
us with better security rate. The Security Committee, working in combine force
with the Security Committees of Sector SS2C1 and SS2C2, was able to source for
a new security company. As such, the Committee has no choice but to terminate
the services of the previous company and to appoint a new security company as
follows:

Rate: RM 6.50 per hour per
guard, valid for ONE YEAR.
Total monthly security payment:
RM 14,200.00 inclusive of GST.
No. of guards: 6 Nepalese, 2
for day shift and 4 for night shift.
The Committee also would like to inform you that the construction of new
guard houses, located at SS 2/2 (next to TNB substation) and Jalan SS 2/107 with
spotlights are completed. High Density (HD) CCTV has been installed at the entry/exit
points at SS 2/2 and SS 2/107 with 4 cameras each.
The Security Committee in fact had invited the OCS of Sea Park police
station on Tuesday, 14 April 2015 to introduce him of the new security booth
and to work closely with the police force. They have agreed to allow us to use
the police logo on the security booth. In addition, whenever the police
officers are doing their regular patrol in our area, they are also welcomed to
rest at the booth area and we will provide drinks for them.
