Dear
Residents,
The
Security Committee is currently working with MBPJ councillor, Ir. Lee Suet Sen
to help residents apply to MBPJ for back lane LED lights in order to enhance
the security measures in SS2D to discourage unwanted theft/crime.
Installation
of the LED light and related wiring work will be carried out by contractor
appointed by MBPJ and the cost will be borne by MBPJ. After the installation,
MBPJ will inform TNB and the electricity usage will then be included in your
monthly TNB bill. The estimated LED billing is only RM 18.00 per year or on
average, RM 1.50 per month. The LED light (installed with a timer) will be
switched on daily from 7.00 pm to 7.00 am the next day.
Interested
residents are required to personally fill up the attached MBPJ application form and attach the following documents as
required by MBPJ:
- Photocopy of resident's
Identity Card (IC) or Borang 49 for company;
- Latest assessment bill (Bil
cukai taksiran);
- Latest electricity bill.
After
filling up the application form, residents can pass the form to any of the road
representatives listed below. The Security Committee will collect all the forms
and in turn pass them to the Councillor who will assist in forwarding them to
MBPJ for approval.
Please
take note that the closing date for submission of application form to the
Security Committee or Road Representative is Sunday, 29 March 2015.
Appeal to residents to join as a Security Member
If
you are not yet a security member, you are kindly requested to join as a
security member by filling up an SS2D
application form as attached. Think
of the safety and the future of your family and children.
Please pass
your application form and payment of RM 250 (monthly security fee of RM 50 for
4 months and a onetime start up fund of RM 50) to any Committee Member or Road
Representative nearest to you.
