“FLASHER” CAUGHT BY OUR SECURITY GUARDS !

Dear Residents,

The Security Committee is glad to inform you that at about 7.58 am on 27 July 2012 (Friday), the suspect 'flasher' in a white Proton Saga WEF 589 was spotted driving around slowly at the same area reported earlier. A Committee Member quickly informed the security supervisor.
Shortly, at 8.00 am, 6 security guards (with 2 guards of the same security company from SS2C in response to back up call) were immediately dispatched there and managed to nab him at the junction between road 2/92 & 2/99.

The suspect, aged 44, came from Port Klang. After being asked to produce his identity card for recording, he was given a warning not to be around SS2D since he admitted he has no business here. The security guards also took a photo of the suspect.

Let us hope that this will stop him from coming after being told that he is being watched.

We are pleased to note that the residents are working together to catch the suspect ‘flasher’ only few days after the case was first reported and that the security guards were very efficient & prompt in action as a team and handled the suspect professionally.

Thank you.
Security Committee

"Flasher" Sighted at SS 2/97-2/99

Dear Residents,

One of our Security Committee members from SS2/99 has reported the following on the “flasher” this morning:

“The flasher is driving round road 97 & 99 this morning at 7.50 & I managed to see his face as he stopped his car in front of the empty house at end row of road 92 facing house 12, road 97. I have already informed the supervisor & the guard at road 90. It's a Chinese man who has been around our area even before we started our security scheme. I always suspected him as an informer for house break-in in the past. He drives a white proton saga WEF 589. Earlier it was another neighbour member who informed me that he went round 4 times at 2/97 yesterday & her maid recognized him as he did the same act at road 89 when she was working there some time ago. She claimed that he targeted at maids. Please look out for this car WEF 589 white Proton Saga.”

If any resident happens to see that car (proton saga WEF 589), for your own safety, do not hesitate to contact immediately the security guard on duty or the Police.

SS2D: "Flasher" on the prowl

Dear Residents,

The Security Committee has received report that there is a “flasher” prowling in our neighbourhood, first sighted at side lane near SS 2/105 & SS 2/107. The security guards have since been instructed to be constantly on the lookout when they go patrolling.

Residents are advised to be alert and remain vigilant always. Report to the Police or the security guard if you see any suspicious person.

  • Hotline/Security Supervisor on duty : 016 336 1191
  • Zone Supervisor, Mr. Motaz                : 016 213 1723  &  016 650 8187
  • Police SEA Park (SS 2/60)                  : 03 7875 1382

Please provide any feedback or information to the Committee so that we can notify other residents for the sake of security.

Below is the email we received Tuesday from a SS 2/98 resident regarding the above incidence:

This is to alert our residents that on Sat, 15 July 2012 @ around 10am, my maid who was walking to the park using the lorong, encountered a flasher. He stopped his car at the lorong path leading to the park and stepped out of the car minus his pants. My maid could not pass through as he blocked the path with his car to reveal himself and hence my traumatized maid had to turn back and ran home to report the incident.

This email is sent to share with our fellow residents to remind the ladies to be extra careful when a car slow down beside them in this neighbourhood.”

The Security Committee would like to thank this resident for reporting to us and hope you will do the same when you come across any security matter in the interest of the community.

Thank you,
Security Committee

Joint Patrolling with Police at SS2D

Dear Residents,

Due to the increasing crime rate, Inspector Gunan, OCS SEA Park Police Station, has initiated a joint patrolling programme with SS2D Security Committee whereby his police staff will patrol our area together with the Committee Members and the residents.

The proposal is to either drive our cars followed by the police car with announcement from their loud hailer or we can walk on foot for some distance together with the police.

The first joint patrolling is scheduled as follows:

Date:      5 July 2012 (Thursday)
Time:      8.00 pm
Place:     Meet at the playground along Jalan SS 2/92.

From there, we will proceed on foot and car patrolling to roughly Jln SS 2/97 and end up in Jln SS 2/113. The whole exercise is expected to take about an hour. If this is successful, we will consider organizing similar joint patrol with the police on a monthly basis.

The newly appointed security company, Deriguour Security Sdn Bhd, has voiced their support and will be joining us.

We invite all residents who are concerned with the security of our neighbourhood to take part in this joint patrolling exercise.

Thank you.
Security Committee
